dc.description.abstract | TheWeb application entitled “Skin Cancer Detection Using Image Processing” is a medical application which focuses diagnosing patients with the type of the skin cancer with the image classification using a special type of artificial neural network called convolutional neural networks. Using this application a doctors or any health worker can easily diagnose a patient with the type of skin cancer. Users have to take an image of the pigmentation in their skin and crop the image to the appropriate aspect ratio or resolution. Then upload the edited image onto the web application. The web application will then take the image and use the neural network model to predict what type of skin cancer that person has. There are many advantages for this application as it does not require a real doctor or skilled professional to use this application. This method is also much cheaper and efficient compared to the traditional methods. | en_US |
