dc.description.abstract The project is to detect and measure the supply voltage and display it on the LCD screen. The range of the voltmeter is (0-30) V. The circuit is based on ATMEL UNO microcontroller. It also uses a 16*1 LCD and a few passive components. The microcontroller contains an inbuilt ADC. The analog input is taken through the A0 port of the ADC. The input signal is converted to corresponding digital value. The microcontroller checks whether the input voltage lies within the range of the voltmeter. Then the value is multiplied with a factor to obtain the required value. The LCD is interfaced to the microcontroller. The value is transferred to the LCD using different pins. The input analog value is displayed on the LCD. It is used for measuring voltage within a given range with very high accuracy. Because of the very simple circuit, it finds applications in labs, machines, instruments etc. en_US
