dc.description.abstract A sensorless vector control of synchronous reluctance motor is proposed in this paper. We use extended Kalman filter (EKF) to estimate speed of synchronous reluctance motor. The rotor speed is calculated from d-q-axis voltages and currents. Furthermore, a disturbance torque observer is added to improve load problem. The validity of the proposed method is confirmed by experiment results. en_US
