In today’s world security system plays a very important role. With increase in number of thefts and robbery, the need to develop an efficient security system whose primary function to provide safety to belongings of people by automatic locking of lockers in case if it is left open .&#13;
Instead of immobile security system we are introducing a mobile security system based on a robot so that it can perform other functions such as detection and removal of small metal pieces from ground, self charging by checking its voltage level, pedestrian detection. This system also accommodates an RF module for RF communication which ensures high level of security. These highlighting features make this system reliable and dependent one for providing security.

Tachometer is a device that gives the information about the rotational&#13;
speed of any machine .The rotating machine could be any prime mover like an&#13;
electric motor, diesel engine, petrol or gas driven engine, gas turbine, water&#13;
turbine, steam turbine, or numerous industrial equipment which are driven by&#13;
any of the above engines .&#13;
As the name indicates, we can accurately measure the speed of the&#13;
rotating shaft without touching the shaft. This device is built on a 16F873A&#13;
microcontroller, an alpha-numeric LCD module and a proximity sensor to detect&#13;
the rotation of the shaft whose speed is being measured.
